What You'll Learn From This Course

By the end of this program the student should be proficient in the garment under study throughout the entire garment making journey as such: Take accurate body measurements for the chosen garment type. Select suitable fabrics, trims, and accessories appropriate for the garment style. Draft and cut basic patterns to correct body proportions. Assemble and sew the garment using correct construction and finishing techniques. Apply design details and finishing to enhance the garment’s appeal and fit. Operate a sewing machine confidently and maintain it properly. Demonstrate creativity and craftsmanship in the final garment produced. Produce a complete, well-fitted garment ready for wear or display.

Prior experience or exposure to sewing Interest in fashion, tailoring, or garment making
